Combat without dice
The preview you see before attacking is the calculation that runs. No surprises — just regrets.
Results round to the nearest whole number, halves up. There are no hidden variables: the preview is the real calculation.

Opponents that don't cheat
The AI cannot issue a command you couldn't, and the fog applies to it too: it knows what it sees and guesses the rest.

Expansionist
Leans into founding cities and territory value; its army comes late but its economy grows.
Weakness: Open to early pressure.

Defensive
Walls and Spearmen first; strong on its border, slow to expand.
Weakness: Can fall behind on score — after turn 22 it turns to attacking.

Opportunist
Watches the power ratio; strikes whoever weakens, avoids a fight it cannot win.
Weakness: Can open two fronts.
A default match has a mixed roster: the personality pool is shuffled from the seed and handed out to the opponents in order. If you prefer, the setup screen lets you pick each opponent's personality and difficulty yourself.
Opponents set to Hard start with +5 production and +5 food (no hidden cheating).
You pick a dynasty too: one line chosen at setup bends a rule in your favour for the whole match — or you play with no dynasty and take the balance without asymmetry.
How a match unfolds
Four phases overlap; matches are mostly won in the fighting.
- ExplorationTurns 1–12
The fog lifts; resource nodes and rival positions become known.
- ExpansionTurns 10–30
New cities go up, the economy settles, border tension starts.
- ConflictTurns 25–52
Armies are raised and cities besieged; matches are mostly won here.
- EndgameTurns 53–60
If conquest hasn't ended it, the score race decides — who leads is never hidden.
Offline and quiet
The game runs entirely on your device. Your unfinished match, your stats and your settings never leave the browser's local storage. Same game in airplane mode.

Frequently asked
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No ads, no in-app purchases, no paid edition. Progress opens up by playing, and only by playing.
- Do I need to download anything?
- No. Press “Play” and it opens in your browser. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app.
- Can I play offline?
- Yes. After the first load the game makes no network requests at all; airplane mode changes nothing.
- Do I need an account?
- No. No email is asked for, no location is read, no ad identifier is used. No data is collected.
- Can I replay the same map?
- Yes. Every match comes from a seed; a map you liked can be rebuilt from the same seed.
- Can I make peace with the opponents?
- You can buy a truce: gold for non-aggression lasting up to 10 turns. Sides under truce cannot attack each other or enter each other's cities; it simply expires and cannot be broken early. The AI offers truces too — and then it pays. There is no diplomacy tree, just the one action.
- Is it on phones?
- The iOS and Android builds are ready and waiting on store release. Today it plays in your phone's browser too.
One match, half an hour.
